About Me

The beginning:

The first few years of my life were spent in the very small town of Smyrna, NY. When I was 3 and my brother 5, my parents decided it might be a good idea to join civilization - so we moved to the nearby Hamilton, NY, home of Colgate University. I spent the next 15 years of my life in the beautiful but quiet small town of Hamilton - spending the summers swimming in the pond and the winters playing in the snow.

After graduating High school I ventured over to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute where I spent the next few years of my life getting my B.S. in Comp Sci and this bizarre major called Electronic Media, Arts and Communications - or EMAC. I met some cool cats at RPI, but decided it was time to move on and see what else was out there.

I wasn't quite ready for the 'real world' as everyone kept calling it, and Grad school was looking rather tempting. Having been waist deep in snow for 6 months a year for the previous 21 years helped make my decision to try out school way down south. I ended up at Georgia Tech pursuing my Master's degree in Human Computer Interaction. After two great years at Tech I was finally ready to be gainfully employed - and found myself at Google (and by "found myself" I mean 2 phone interviews, 7 onsite interviews, and a written essay later). And that ends what I would call the beginning. What's to come from here on out I have no idea.
